Dan Downing — Founder and President

Dan DowningDan's professional experience includes over 35 years of IT consulting, primarily on the west coast with much of the time as the sole owner of a 31 team member corporation. Services provided were high level design and business analysis, development, and testing.

Prior to founding Advantage Factory, Dan developed/co-developed 3 highly successful hardware and software packages including: a full line insurance package, a hypertext search engine, and an integration package between hand-held route sales units and a beverage industry routing package.

Dan’s leadership and vision at Advantage Factory has led to the formation of an executive team focused on providing the highest quality software deliverables to Advantage Factory customers. This well balanced team has expertise in the areas of software consulting, business management, finance, operations, and customer relationship management.


Aaron Dutton — Vice President, Operations

Aaron DuttonAaron Dutton’s technological depth with many Microsoft technologies, coupled with a background in networking and digital systems has helped provide Advantage Factory clients with innovative and successful business solutions.

Before joining Advantage Factory, Dutton worked as a senior software developer for a vertical marketplace and as a software engineer for a software consulting firm in Redmond, WA.

Dutton earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 1998.


Jonathan Granger — Vice President, Technology

Jonathan GrangerJonathan's management focus is communicating the immense value that collaborative and interoperable software solutions deliver to forward looking organizations. Jonathan is often the liaison between the business and technical teams, bridging these two important groups and providing an environment where innovation can flourish.

With a long history of delivering successful software solutions in multiple roles, Jonathan communicates to both business and technical leaders in a common language. His seven years at Advantage Factory and prior experience as a technology consultant provide strategic advantage to project stakeholders.

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems from the University of Washington. He is a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist, and a Virtual Technical Specialist for Microsoft's Connected Systems Division in Redmond, WA.


Chuck King — CFO

Chuck KingChuck has been with Advantage Factory since its inception in 2001. Chuck has over 8 years experience architecting and implementing software solutions, and over 11 years experience working as a business analyst.

Before joining Advantage Factory Chuck developed databases for the government sector, developed accounting systems for a fortune 100 company, and implemented ordering and product management systems at a .com startup.

Chuck received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration - Finance from Western Washington University, and is a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist.
